Carol is a licensed occupational therapist in private practice in Edmonds, WA. and one of only eleven in the United States with the distinction of AOTA Board Certification in Gerontology.
Aging in Place is a primary focus of Carol’s practice. Home safety assessments, recommendations for home modifications, adaptive equipment and modified daily living plans to promote healthy aging are key areas of concentration, with a primary goal of maximizing participation in daily occupations. Consultation with family, caregivers, medical practitioners and community resources are frequently an important part of the therapy process.
