A Change is Afoot is a one-to-one personal placement service. Our services focus on the needs and interests of our clients. Does a cruise ship for life work best? Is an adult family home with an RN needed? Perhaps a retirement community for one spouse and an Alzheimers wing for the other works best.
Whatever it is, we go with you and explore the best options that fit your needs. Typically our services are covered by the 200 plus facillities we contract with. Some prefer private pay.
When home is no longer an option, we assess the needs of Mom and Dad and take them, or their family members, to the best places that meet those needs. This service is paid for by the over 200 housing options that we are contracted with.
We also offer Case Management and Family Counseling for a fee.
We utilize our professional nursing skills and indepth knowledge of adult family homes on the Eastside to assist the family in placing clients into the best possible setting for their medical needs and lifestyle. Our geographic area extends from the Bothell/Mill Creek area to Renton and Issaquah. The family pays no fee for our professional services.

I assist families in locating the most appropriate facility for the care that is needed. I evaluate on site, adult family homes and assisted living facilities before agreeing to represent them. Using current information as to the client's needs/preferences, I work with family or representatives to coordinate relocation to the new facility.After placement, I provide on going support as needed, as an advocate and/or resource. There is no charge to the client for my services.
